Privacy notice
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This notice explains what personal data I collect through this website, why, and what rights you have. I keep it short and specific to how the site actually works.
Who is responsible
Joanna Dysiewicz, independent organizational development and change consultant, based in Barcelona, Spain. Contact for anything in this notice: hello@joannadysiewicz.com or +34 680 483 764.
What I collect and why
When you request a call
The booking form asks for your name, your email address and, optionally, your organization. It also records the time you choose, the page language and your time zone. I use this to hold the time, to confirm it or suggest another, and to send the calendar invitation with a video link. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you email or call me
I receive what you choose to send, such as your name, contact details and message. I use it to reply and, if we work together, to deliver the work. Legal basis: steps before a contract and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
When you visit the site
The hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the time of the request in server logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The site uses no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.
Cookies and storage on your device
The site sets no cookies. If you pause animations, your browser stores that one setting locally so the site remembers it. It is never sent to me or anyone else.
Services I use
- Google (Calendar, Gmail, Meet and Apps Script): booking requests are processed by a Google Apps Script, kept as events in my Google Calendar and announced to me by email. Confirmed calls use Google Meet. Emails to hello@joannadysiewicz.com arrive in my Gmail.
- Cloudflare: domain name service and forwarding of email sent to hello@joannadysiewicz.com.
- Netlify: hosting of this website.
Some of these providers are based in, or transfer data to, the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. I do not sell personal data or use it for advertising, and I make no automated decisions about you.
How long I keep it
Booking requests that do not lead to a call are deleted within three months. Correspondence and call details are kept for up to two years after our last contact. If we work together, I keep what the law requires for longer, for example invoicing records.
Your rights
You can ask me for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@joannadysiewicz.com; I reply within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or the authority in the country where you live.
Changes
If the way the site handles data changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
